Design my Space offers affordable online interior design with clear, flat-rate packages and expert guidance from start to finish. You’ll work directly with a dedicated designer to create a space tailored to your style, needs and budget — with design boards, layout guidance, shopping links and post-design support included depending on your chosen package.

How does the process work?

Start by completing your design brief and booking your free consultation. During the call, your designer will discuss your space, style, budget, functional needs and the best package for your project.

Once you purchase your package, you’ll send through your room measurements, photos, existing furniture details and any inspiration images. Your designer will then create your initial design proposal, including your design boards, layout and product direction.

You’ll then have the opportunity to give feedback and refine the design through the included revision rounds. Once approved, your designer will finalise your complete room design package, including your shopping list and product links.

How much will it cost?

Our packages are flat-rate and all-inclusive, with no hidden design fees.

Design Essential is £175 per room, Design Plus is £225 per room, and Design Premium is £325 per room. You’ll also save 10% when you buy two or more rooms.

What's included in the free consultation?

Your free consultation is a friendly 30-minute call with a designer. We’ll discuss your room, what you want to achieve, your style, budget, timeline and which package would be the best fit for your project.

Once your package is purchased, you’ll also receive included video calls depending on your package: 2 x 40-minute calls with Essential, 3 x 40-minute calls with Plus, and 4 x 40-minute calls with Premium.

How long does the process take?

Once you have sent through your room measurements, photos and inspiration images, you’ll usually receive your initial design proposal within 2 weeks. You’ll then have a chance to share feedback and request revisions within your package allowance.

Once you are happy with the design, your designer will complete the final room design package within 2 weeks. You’ll also receive post-design support after your package is complete: 2 weeks with Essential, 1 month with Plus, and 2 months with Premium.

Services and Packages

How do I know which package is right for me?

Your designer can guide you during the free consultation. As a general guide:

Design Essential is ideal if you want a complete room refresh with design boards, layout guidance, 3D concept visualisations and a shopping list.

Design Plus is better if you would also like a detailed lighting plan and basic joinery design, such as wardrobes or media walls.

Design Premium is best for more detailed projects where you need photorealistic renders, room elevations, 3D floor plans and advanced joinery design, including kitchens.

What kind of rooms can Design my Space design for me?

We can help with almost any room in your home, including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, open-plan spaces, entryways, home offices, nurseries, bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor areas.

What is the maximum room size?

Our standard packages are suitable for rooms up to 25sqm. Larger rooms or open-plan spaces may require a custom quote.

Can I include furniture I already own in my design?

Yes. At the start of your project, you can send photos, measurements and details of any furniture or décor you would like to keep. Your designer will then work these pieces into your design where possible.

Will my package also include paint and finishes?

Yes. Your designer can recommend paint colours, finishes, flooring direction and materials as part of your overall room design.

Can my designer also help with bespoke joinery?

Yes. Design Plus includes basic joinery design for smaller items such as wardrobes and media walls. Design Premium includes more advanced joinery design, including larger joinery projects such as kitchens.

Can I use Design my Space for my business?

Yes. We can help with selected commercial spaces, including offices, salons, studios, guest accommodation, rental properties and small hospitality spaces. For commercial projects, please contact us at info@designmyspace.uk so we can advise on the best approach.

Working with your designer

How will my designer know my style and what I like?

Your designer will review your design brief, room photos, measurements, inspiration images and any notes you provide. The consultation also gives you a chance to explain what you like, what you dislike and how you want the room to feel.

How much time do I get with my designer?

You’ll work directly with your designer throughout the design process by email, with a set number of included video calls depending on your package. Essential includes 2 x 40-minute calls, Plus includes 3 x 40-minute calls, and Premium includes 4 x 40-minute calls.

How many times can I change my design?

Design Essential includes up to 3 design revisions. Design Plus and Design Premium include up to 4 design revisions. Revisions should be requested within 2 weeks of receiving your design proposal so your designer can keep the project moving efficiently.

What if I don’t like my design?

Interior design is a collaborative process. If something does not feel right, you can share your feedback with your designer and request changes within your included revision rounds. The aim is to refine the design until it feels right for your space, style and budget.

Discounts and Promotions

Can I design multiple rooms at once?

Yes. You can purchase multiple rooms and receive a 10% discount when you buy two or more rooms. You’ll also work with the same designer across your home, helping create a cohesive look throughout.

Do your design packages expire?

Yes. Design packages must be started within 1 year of purchase. This helps us keep pricing, package inclusions and supplier recommendations up to date.

Does Design my Space offer gift cards?

Yes. You can give the gift of interior design with a Design my Space gift card. To request one, please email info@designmyspace.uk.
